​Blue Sky Meadow

Blue Sky Meadow is located in the San Bernardino Mountains near Big Bear City. As a site donated by the Wildlands Conservancy, we are situated in a broad, bowl-shaped valley surrounded by Jeffrey Pine, White Fir, Sierra Juniper and Sagebrush. The large meadow, an unusual habitat in dry Southern California, hosts a wide variety of species, including rare plants. The combination of forests, meadow and pond habitats provide an excellent and diverse outdoor teaching environment.
