We are looking forward to your upcoming visit to Blue Sky Meadow Outdoor Science School. Here, you will find answers to many of your questions, including what you should bring for your outdoor school week, what you will be eating, where you will be staying, and who your teachers will be!
1. What Should I Bring To Outdoor School?
In addition to paying close attention the Packing List your teachers gave you, you can also take a look at our Packing Page!
2. Where Will I Sleep?
You will be sleeping in one of our beautiful mountain cabins, with a great group of cabin mates! Check out photos of our cabin houses Tree, Rock, Shrub, and Bird.
3. What Will I Eat?
We will feed you three meals, two snacks, and one surprise every day! To see some examples of the food at Outdoor School, check out our Sample Menu. If you have special dietary needs or restrictions, no worries! Just make sure that you tell your teachers ahead of time, and read our Special Dietary Needs page.
4. What Is The Schedule Like?
We will fill your days with fun outdoor adventures and exhilarating evening activities. We hope that you won't even realize how much you are learning, until you tell your family all about it when you get home! Check out the Daily Schedule.
5. Who Are Those Awesome People Who Will Be Teaching Me About Science and Nature All Week?
You will be placed into a Naturalist Group upon arrival at Blue Sky Meadow. Check out our Staff Page to see the memorable Naturalists that you will get to know at Outdoor School.
